about

This is the first remix I did for these guys. At the time I was living on the beach in northern New South Wales and OJ and Sol (bass and guitar) would drop by and we would go for a wave out the front. The live drum and bass these guys play is phenomenal and it has to be said that Mark Henman is an incredible drummer. The live drums in the middle of the remix are unedited tracks from the original recordings and it really shows just how much of a monster Mr Mark Henman is. OJ (he wrote the original) told me that this song is about the drop off at the edge of a coral reef. I guess I turned it into almost an instrumental braggadocio if there is such a thing.
